Fourth Sitting of the Commission Monitoring the Execution of the National Action Plan for the Implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 - Women, Peace and Security in the Republic of Serbia (2010-2015)

At its fourth sitting, held on 12 December, the Commission Monitoring the Execution of the National Action Plan for the Implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 - Women, Peace and Security in the Republic of Serbia (2010-2015) reviewed the request for Information of Public Importance submitted by the organisation Women in Black.


The Commission decided to forward the adopted minutes of the Commission’s sittings to the organisation Women in Black.

Relating to the independent report of the Women in Black on the execution of the NAP for the implementation of UNSC Resolution 1325, the Commission members decided to send a request to the organisation asking for clarification of the claims made in the Report.

The Commission Chairperson informed the Commission members that she had attended the session of the Government’s Political Council for the execution of the NAP and that the NAP would be revised. The Commission also agreed to discuss the Report on the execution of the NAP after it had been submitted by the Political Council.

The sitting was chaired by Zlata Djeric, Commission Chairperson.
