60th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 21 September 2021, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues ascertained the text of the act on amending the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, to be forwarded to the National Assembly Speaker so as to be submitted for an opinion to the Venice Commission.

The Committee also ascertained the text of the Constitutional Law for the implementation of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia to be forwarded to the National Assembly Speaker so as to be submitted for an opinion to the Venice Commission.

As item 3 on the agenda, the Committee passed the Decision to terminate the operation of the Working Group for the Drafting of the Act to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia set up by the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues.

Said texts will be posted on the National Assembly’s website on Wednesday, 22 September 2021.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Jelena Zaric Kovacevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nevena Veinovic, Zeljko Tomic, Olja Petrovic, Ilija Matejic, Milenko Jovanov, Vuk Mircetic, Luka Kebara, Dejan Kesar, Ugljesa Mrdic, Violeta Ocokoljic and Dubravka Kralj.
