At the sitting held on 8 July 2026, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered in detail a number of bills proposed for the agenda of the Eighth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 14th Legislature.
International Sports Federations Based in the Republic of Serbia, Bill amending the Law on Prevention of Doping in Sports, Bill on Parents-Caregivers and Caregivers, Bill on Integrated Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution, Bill amending the Law on the Constitutional Court, and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Financing Political Activities.
Of the 176 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill on Weapons and Ammunition, the Committee found the amendment to Article 126 of the Bill jointly submitted by MPs Branislav Nestorovic, Branko Lukic, Borislav Antonijevic, Ana Ivanovic and Slobodan Ilic not to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, namely Article 196, paragraph 4 of the Constitution, while the rest were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee found the 10 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Criminal Code to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee also found all of the five amendments submitted to the Bill on the Legal Status of International Sports Federations Based in the Republic of Serbia to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The four amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Prevention of Doping in Sports, were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
All 42 of the amendments submitted to the Bill on Parents-Caregivers and Caregivers, were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
Of the 60 amendments submitted to the Bill on Integrated Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution, the Committee found the following not to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia: namely with articles 17 and 18 of the Law on Commercial Offenses the amendment to Article 45 of the Bill jointly submitted by MPs Pavle Grbovic, Ahmedin Skrijelj, Dr Anna Oreg, Shaip Kamberi, Vladimir Pajic and Minela Kalender; amendment to Article 45 of the Bill jointly submitted by MPs Marinika Tepic, Dragan Djilas, Borko Stefanovic, Dusan Nikezic, Goran Petrovic, Jelena Milosevic, Tatjana Pasic, Pedja Mitrovic, Jelena Spiric, Dalibor Jekic, Branko Miljus and Mila Popovic and the amendment to Article 45 of the Bill jointly submitted by MPs Radomir Lazovic, Doc. Dr Biljana Djordjevic, Robert Kozma, Prof. Dr Djordje Pavicevic, Natalija Stojmenovic, Doc. Dr Rastislav Dinic, Marina Mijatovic, Dobrica Veselinovic and Bogdan Radovanovic, as well as with Article 35 of the Law on Commercial Offenses the amendment to Article 47 of the Bill jointly submitted by MPs Radomir Lazovic, Doc. Dr Biljana Djordjevic, Robert Kozma, Prof. Dr Djordje Pavicevic, Natalija Stojmenovic, Doc. Dr Rastislav Dinic, Marina Mijatovic, Dobrica Veselinovic and Bogdan Radovanovic. The Committee found the rest to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The amendments submitted to Article 3 of the Bill amending the Law on the Constitutional Court by MP Marijan Risticevic was found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, and pursuant to Article 48 paragraph 1 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the Committee decided to propose that the National Assembly accept it.
Of the 52 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Financing Political Activities, the Committee found the following not to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia: namely with article 35 of the Law on Misdemeanours the amendment to Article 22 of the Bill jointly submitted by MPs Radomir Lazovic, Doc. Dr Biljana Djordjevic, Robert Kozma, Prof. Dr Djordje Pavicevic, Natalija Stojmenovic, Doc. Dr Rastislav Dinic, Marina Mijatovic, Dobrica Veselinovic and Bogdan Radovanovic; the amendment to Article 24 of the Bill jointly submitted by MPs Marinika Tepic, Dragan Djilas, Borko Stefanovic, Dusan Nikezic, Goran Petrovic, Jelena Milosevic, Tatjana Pasic, Pedja Mitrovic, Jelena Spiric, Dalibor Jekic, Branko Miljus and Mila Popovic and the amendment to Article 24 of the Bill jointly submitted by MPs Miroslav Aleksic, Borislav Novakovic, Uros Djokic, Aleksandar Ivanovic, Dr Ana Jakovljevic, Nenad Milojicic, Prof. Dr Snezana Rakic, Ivana Rokvic and Djordje Stankovic. The Committee found the rest to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
