23rd Sitting of the of the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction
At the sitting held on 16 May, the members of the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction were presented the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals by Committee Chairperson Milanka Jevtovic Vukojicic, containing 17 goals and 169 targets and covering the three pillars of sustainable development: economic, social and environmental.
The Committee was then briefed on the sustainable development goals within its scope: world without poverty, world without hunger, decent work, economic growth and reducing inequality.
The Committee members went on to accept the proposal of the Working Group for civic petitions regarding the petitions and proposals it had received.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Milanka Jevtovic Vukojicic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prim. Dr Branimir Rancic, Aleksandra Maletic, Djordje Komlenski, Bojan Torbica, Dr Predrag Jelenkovic, Prim. Dr Vlado Babic and Milena Corilic.
