152nd Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 1 December, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the six bills proposed for discussion at the Seventh Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015.

The Committee members found the Bill on Mining and Geological Research, Proposal of the Republic of Serbia Energy Development Strategy by 2025 with projections until 2030, Bill on the Confirmation of the International Convention against the Recruitment, Use, Financing and Training of Mercenaries, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Romania on Paid Employment of Family Members of Staff of Diplomatic or Consular Representative Offices, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Georgia on Visa Abolition for Diplomatic and Official/Special Passport Holders and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Finland on Succession and Consolidation of Bilateral Agreements, submitted by the Government, compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members also reviewed the amendments the MPs had submitted to the Proposal of the Republic of Serbia Energy Development Strategy by 2025 with projections until 2030 and found all six of them compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
