At the twelfth sitting, the Finance Committee discussed in detail the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2009 and the Bill amending and modifying the Excise Tax Law.

The deputies submitted modifications to six amendments total to the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2009, out of which the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Finance Committee accepted five. Modifications made by deputy Aleksandar Pejcic to the amendment of article 5, section 55; deputy Milos Aligrudic of article 4; deputy Miroslav Petkovic of article 6; deputy Milan Lapcevic of article 30 and deputy Milutin Jelicevic of article 5, chapter 14 of the Bill were accepted. The modification of the amendment of article 5, section 3 by deputy Veroljub Arsic, was not accepted by the Government and Committee.

Deputy Djordje Milicevic submitted a modification to the amendment of article 19 of the Bill amending and modifying the Excise Tax Law, which was not accepted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Finance Committee.
