Sixth Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee
At the sitting held on 17 December, the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered, in principle, two decision proposals and five bills from its scope of work, included in the Ninth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly in 2012.
The Committee unanimously accepted the Proposal of the Decision on the Adoption of the Annual Plan for the use of the Serbian Armed Forces and other defence forces in multinational operations in 2012 and the Proposal of the Decision on the participation of Serbian Army personnel in multinational operations in 2012.
The Committee unanimously endorsed the Bill on the Confirmation of the Defence Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil, Bill on the Confirmation of the Defence Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Greece, Bill on the Confirmation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia on Cooperation in the field of Defence, Bill on the Confirmation of the Defence Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Russian Federation on the Foundation of the Serbian-Russian Humanitarian Centre.
The sitting was chaired by Dusan Bajatovic, Committee Chairman.
