Seventeenth Sitting of the Committee on Urban Planning and Construction
At its seventeenth sitting held on 27 October, the Committee on Urban Planning and Construction considered the amendments to the Bill amending the Law on Maintenance of Residential Buildings and the Bill on Communal Activities, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Jovan Nesovic. The sitting was attended by Minister of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic and associates.
Out of the five amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Maintenance of Residential Buildings, the Government and the Committee accepted two.
The MPs had submitted a total of 40 amendments to the Bill on Communal Activities. The Government and the Committee accepted 21 of the amendments, while the Committee submitted seven amendments of its own to articles 2, 3, 4, 24, 26, 30 and an amendment introducing a new article 42a to the Bill which Minister Dulic accepted at the Committee sitting.
In the continuation, Committee Chairman Jovan Nesovic informed the Committee members about the upcoming visit by Bundestag parliamentarians to the National Assembly. The Committee members agreed that the Committee on Urban Planning and Construction should be represented by Committee Chairman Jovan Nesovic, member Bojana Stanojevic and deputy member Dusan Bajatovic at the meeting on 3 November.
