Petitions and Proposals Committee Chairman Holds Two Meetings
The Chairman of the Committee on Petitions and Proposals Sasa Dujovic received the representatives of the Serbian Association of Homeless Servicemen to address the unresolved housing issues of about 2,800 families, members of the association.
The Chairman of the Committee on Petitions and Proposals Sasa Dujovic received the representatives of the Serbian Association of Homeless Servicemen to address the unresolved housing issues of about 2,800 families, members of the association. The Association representatives stated that so far only the Ministry of Defense has offered 20,000 EUR in non-refundable loans, and so far 640 persons have applied for the loan, and 494 have concluded the contract. Since the remaining members of the Association are not satisfied with this kind of solution to their housing problem, they sent an appeal to the Speaker of the National Assembly of the
Committee Chairman Sasa Dujovic told the Association representatives that that the Committee would take the appropriate measures, within its competence outlined in the Rules of Procedure, to resolve the issue.
The Chairman of the Committee on Petitions and Proposals Sasa Dujovic received the representatives of the Civic Association demanding indemnity from “Elita International”.
The representatives of the association comprising about 4,500 members appealed for a more efficient treatment by the High Public Prosecutors Office in the case of financial investigation against Nikola Lazic who had damaged them in his business dealings.
According to Chairman Sasa Dujovic, the Committee will take the appropriate steps, within its power and competence, to resolve the issue brought before it by the Association.
