Ninety-Fifth Sitting of the Finance Committee
At the sitting held on 28 December, the members of the Finance Committee considered, in detail, the Bill on the 2012 Budget of the Republic of Serbia, Bill amending and modifying the Excise Tax Law, Bill amending and modifying the Legal Entity Profit Tax Law, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Mandatory Social Insurance Contributions and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration. At the sitting, the Committee also considered, in principle and in detail, the Bill amending and modifying the Budget System Law and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Mandatory Traffic Insurance.
Following a short debate, the Committee members accepted the Bill amending and modifying the Budget System Law, in principle. A total of 10 amendments were submitted to the Bill. The Government and the Committee accepted none of them.
The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 13 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Excise Tax Law.
The MPs had submitted 30 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Legal Entity Profit Tax Law, but the Government and the Committee accepted none of them.
The MPs had submitted two amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Mandatory Social Insurance Contributions, which the Government and the Committee did not accept.
35 amendments had been submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration, 34 by the MPs and one by the Government. The Government and the Committee accepted none of the MPs’ amendments, while the Committee accepted the Government’s amendment and submitted an amendment of its own to article 11 of the Bill.
The Committee members went on to accept the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Mandatory Traffic Insurance in principle. The Government and the Committee accepted none of the eight amendments submitted to the Bill.
