National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic in Official Visit to France

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, is in official visit to France.

On day two of her visit to Paris, Speaker Brnabic met with the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Government of France, Jean-Noël Barrot.

"We had an excellent meeting where we discussed Serbia's European path. On the occasion, I expressed my enormous gratitude to France for the support it provides to Serbia on that path," said Speaker Brnabic after the meeting.

During the visit, the National Assembly Speaker also participated in the panel discussion “Security vs. Sustainability: The Hidden Costs of the Geopolitical Race for Minerals".

She said that this panel discussion was an opportunity to present Serbia's stance on the importance of responsible use of resources and environmental protection.

"We discussed how the green transition must not become a new source of risk, but an opportunity for cooperation, innovation and responsible management of natural resources. Serbia is prepared to be a reliable partner in the global green transition, while respecting the highest standards of sustainability, transparency and citizen trust," Brnabic said.
