MPs Dubravka Filipovski and Marija Obradovic at Third Global Baku Forum
MPs Dubravka Filipovski and Marija Obradovic took part in the Third Global Baku Forum, 27-29 April 2015, organised by the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre and titled “Building Trust in the International World Order”.
“The introduction of quotas is a good way to boost the engagement of women in peace processes. Ensuring institutional mechanisms and building early warning mechanisms, as well as supporting local women’s initiatives for non-violent resolution of conflicts, is also an important step forward”.
As an example of best practice, MPs Dubravka Filipovski and Marija Obradovic drew attention to the dialogue between influential women and women MPs of Belgrade and Pristina within the “Budva Process”, which is important for the future and building trust.
