MP Srdjan Sajn Talks to Hungarian Parliament Speaker
Member of Parliament and President of the Roma Interparliamentary Organisation Srdjan Sajn met today, in Budapest, with the Hungarian Parliament Speaker László Kövér.
The officials agreed that the Roma community and the activities of the Roma Interparliamentary Organisation are an important factor in promoting togetherness among people.
The Hungarian Parliament Speaker accepted the Roma Interparliamentary Organisation’s idea to organise a meeting of regional parliamentary representatives with the topic “Current status of national minorities in the country and potentials for its improvement”.
Speaker Kövér fully supports the integration of the Western Balkan countries into the European Union, stressing that it is extremely important for both Serbia and Hungary that the process progresses as quickly as possible, in which Serbia has Hungary’s full support.
