Sajn informed the representatives of the OSCE Mission to Serbia about the legislative activities implemented by the National Assembly to further the Roma integration process in Serbia. He pointed out the adoption of a series of laws such as the Law amending the Law on Extra-Judicial Proceedings which facilitates the registering of Roma into birth records, the Law on Special Conditions for the Registration of Ownership Rights to Buildings Constructed without Building Permit and the Bill on Patients’ Rights currently in Assembly procedure. Sajn added that, since the new National Assembly legislature was constituted, nine different consultative meetings and public hearing were held focusing on the parliamentary control of the realisation of the Roma integration process in Serbia.
