Head of Parliamentary Friendship Group with Netherlands Speaks to Dutch Ambassador
The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Netherlands, Zeljko Susec, met today at the National Assembly House with Dutch Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Laurent Stokvis.
The Dutch Ambassador said that the Netherlands are ready to send their flood protection experts to Serbia to share their experience and educate their counterparts. He also said that the Netherlands are interested in cooperating with Serbia on concrete tasks and projects and believes that cooperation in the spheres of agriculture, IT, shipbuilding and renewable energy sources show the most potential for expansion. The Ambassador commended the economic reform in Serbia, the Government’s fight against corruption and crime and the judiciary reform, adding that he believed Serbia to have ample potential and good climate for investment.
The meeting was also attended by Vesna Markovic, member of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Netherlands.
