Fourth Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee
At the sitting held on 15 November, the members of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Hungary on Border Control in Road, Railway and Water Transport.
Milorad Todorovic, Secretary at the Ministry of Interior, briefly outlined the Bill, signed on 24 January 2012 and drafted by an interdepartmental group of the ministries. Among other things, the Bill regulates the issue of border crossings and envisages the existence of joint control on the Hungarian territory in certain situations.
In a short debate, the Committee members asked about the opening of some border crossings after which they unanimously accepted the Bill.
The sitting was chaired by Dusan Bajatovic, Committee Chairman.
