Forty-Eighth Sitting of the Committee on Health and the Family

At the sitting held on 6 July, the Committee on Health and the Family accepted the invitations for the Committee Chairman’s participation in two international gatherings. The European Health Forum invited Committee Chairman Dr Paja Momcilov to the congress to be held in early October in Bad Gastein, Austria, and the South-Eastern Europe Regional Health Network organises the Third Health Ministers Forum of these countries in September in Banja Luka.

At the sitting held on 6 July, the Committee on Health and the Family accepted the invitations for the Committee Chairman’s participation in two international gatherings. The European Health Forum invited Committee Chairman Dr Paja Momcilov to the congress to be held in early October in Bad Gastein, Austria, and the South-Eastern Europe Regional Health Network organises the Third Health Ministers Forum of these countries in September in Banja Luka. The topic of the forum is: Health in all policies in South-Eastern Europe – a shared goal and responsibility.

At the sitting, the Committee also reviewed the civic petitions and proposals it had received. On the behalf of the Petitions Subcommittee Dr Djura Mucenski explained several of the petitions relating to the problems in the health care system and proposed possible solutions on which the Committee then proceeded to vote.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Paja Momcilov.
