Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Talks to Finnish Delegation

The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Dragoljub Micunovic and Committee members Nada Kolundzija, Balint Pasztor, Natasa Vuckovic, Milos Jevtic and Vesna Pesic received today at the National Assembly House a delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Finish parliament comprising Pertti Salolainen, delegation head and Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman and deputies Eero Akaan-Penttia, Katri Komi and Elisabeth Naucler.



The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Dragoljub Micunovic and Committee members Nada Kolundzija, Balint Pasztor, Natasa Vuckovic, Milos Jevtic and Vesna Pesic received today at the National Assembly House a delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Finish parliament comprising Pertti Salolainen, delegation head and Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman and deputies Eero Akaan-Penttia, Katri Komi and Elisabeth Naucler.

Finnish parliamentary delegation head Salolainen stressed that Finland is interested in improving the cooperation with Serbia. Salolainen briefed the participants on the Finnish parliament’s surveillance system by the Grand Committee which monitors the work of all Finnish representatives in the European Union, a system similar to the one applied by the Danish and Slovenian parliaments.

Chairman Micunovic briefed the delegation members on the Assembly’s activities concerning Serbia’s accession to the European Union. By adopting laws harmonised with European Union legislation, Serbia has clearly shown its determination to be integrated into the European family, stressed Micunovic.
