Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Receives Macedonian Foreign Minister
The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Prof. Dr Dragoljub Micunovic received the Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Poposki, today at the National Assembly House.
In the meeting, the officials expressed interest in their respective countries’ speedy integration into the European family of countries. Mutual support, good-neighbourly relations and strengthening stability in the region would contribute to it.
Declaring that the world is again in serious crisis, Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Micunovic stressed that small countries should pursue a realistic policy and show solidarity. Therefore, the countries in the region should work on joint projects which could help improve the lives of their people in various spheres (infrastructure, science, education, culture and other).
The officials also spoke of the need to improve parliamentary cooperation and all the other aspects of bilateral cooperation, economic cooperation among them.
