Today, at the National Assembly House, the Finance Committee members received the Head Advisor and Head of the Operation section at the Delegation of the European Commission to Serbia, Hose Butamante, Operation section Project Director Vladan Petrovic and Bianca Breteche, SIGMA programme Senior Advisor.

In the talk, they exchanged opinions on the activities of the State Audit Institution and the European Commission Delegation’s potential support to the Finance Committee. Committee Deputy Chairperson Branka Ljiljak briefed the guests on the duties the Committee fulfilled to ensure that SAI began work in its full capacity, and what the Committee expects from SAI, primarily concerning the analysis of the end-of-year balance report of the Republic of Serbia budget from previous years.

The Delegation representatives offered the Finance Committee their help in the analysis of the end-of-year balance budget report. It was concluded that the main goal is to have SAI gain public trust.

In addition to the Finance Committee Deputy Chairperson Branka Ljiljak, Committee members Jorgovanka Tabakovic, Branislav Jovanovic and Zarko Pivac also took part in the meeting.
