Ceremonial Welcome for Serbian Assembly Speaker in front of Israeli Parliament

A ceremonial welcome was organised in front of the Israeli parliament in Jerusalem for the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, who met today with Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana.

Brnabic was welcomed with the two national anthems, red carpet, and the raised flags of Serbia and Israel. Brnabic signed the Guest Book, followed by a one-on-one meeting with the Speaker of the Knesset.

The Speaker of the Serbian National Assembly will also meet with the Israel-Serbia Parliamentary Friendship Group. The Serbian delegation also includes the Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Israel Milovan Drecun. The Knesset has 120 members and, among other things, elects the president of the state.

During his visit to Israel, which will last until 9 July, Brnabic will also meet with Foreign Minister Gideon Saar and President Isaac Herzog, who visited Belgrade last year.
