Brnabic Begins Visit to Italy with Meeting with Chamber of Deputies Representative Giulio Tremonti

National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic began her visit to Italy today with a meeting with the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign and EU Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament Giulio Tremonti

"I am happy that our strategic partnership is developing in practically all institutional areas and that this year we are celebrating 15 years since the establishment of the strategic partnership," said Brnabic.

She said that her priority will be the furthering parliamentary diplomacy, which, as she assessed, represents a very important segment of bilateral cooperation and contributes both to overall relations and to the success of Serbia’s efforts on the European path.

"Italy is certainly one of the countries that provides us with the strongest support in our European integration efforts," Brnabic pointed out.

National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic is visiting Rome today at the invitation of the President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies Lorenzo Fontana.
