63rd Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 15 and 16 October, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues discussed the 2014 National Assembly Budget Proposal, presented by National Assembly Deputy Secretary General Radoslav Vujovic.

Due to the many comments and proposals made in the course of the debate on the first day, it was agreed to continue the sitting and to prepare by then a comparative table i.e. breakdown of expenses for the last year and the first six months of the new year.

In the continuation of the sitting, on 16 October, the Committee reviewed the amended 2014 National Assembly Budget Proposal - about 300 million RSD lower than originally proposed, which the Committee members found to be a better and more rational proposal.

After the debate, the Committee established the 2014 National Assembly Budget Proposal in the amount of 2,137,611,000 RSD, by a majority of votes.

The sitting was chaired by Zoran Babic, Committee Chairman.
