32nd Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 20 December, the Committee discussed the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Criminal Code, Bill amending the Criminal Procedure Code, Bill amending the Law on Stimulating the Construction Industry of the Republic of Serbia in response to the new Conditions of the Economic Crisis, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Navigation and Ports on Inland Waterways and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Planning and Construction.


Discussing the Bill amending and modifying the Criminal Code, the Committee deemed all the submitted amendments compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, except for the amendment submitted to article 38 of the Bill by MP Stefana Miladinovic.
The Committee noted that three amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Criminal Procedure Code complied with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, unlike the amendment adding a new article, 2a, after article 2, submitted by MP Olgica Batic.
Out of the four amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Stimulating the Construction Industry of the Republic of Serbia in response to the new Conditions of the Economic Crisis, the Committee deemed three compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, while the amendment submitted by MPs Aleksandar Pejcic, Miroslav Petkovic and Radojko Obradovic did not comply with the country’s legal system.
The Committee declared all the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Navigation and Ports on Inland Waterways compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the amendment submitted to article 2 of the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Planning and Construction, by MP Djordje Milicevic.
