The Committee also reviewed and adopted the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia, submitted by the National Bank of Serbia, and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Banks, submitted by the Government, in principle.

It was also decided that Committee member Dusica Stojkovic should represent the European Integration Committee at the parliamentary conference on “Parliaments and budgetary and financial supervision in the Western Balkans” in Tirana, 20 and 21 February 2015.

The European Integration Committee also designated Committee members Vesna Markovic and Gordana Comic to take part in the interparliamentary conference on “Political participation of women in the Western Balkans and Turkey” and interparliamentary meeting “Empowering women and girls through education”, on 4 and 5 March at the European Parliament in Brussels.

The sitting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Serbia.
