21st Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
At the sitting held on 31 October, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments submitted to the Amnesty Bill. By a majority of votes, the Committee deemed all the submitted amendments compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee considered the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of OTP Bank Serbia a.d. Novi Sad, ''Volksbank'' a.d. Belgrade, Vojvodjanska banka a.d. Novi Sad, Societe Generale Bank Serbia a.d. Belgrade, UniCredit Bank Serbia a.d., Belgrade, Amsterdam Trade Bank Netherlands and Deutsche bank AG London against the debt of ''Srbijagas'' Public Enterprise Novi Sad, in principle, and deemed it compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee also considered the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia, submitted by the National Bank of Serbia, and, by a majority of votes, deemed it compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
At the sitting, the Committee members also considered the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of the Director of the Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority, submitted by the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending, and deemed the proposed decision compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The sitting was chaired by MA Vladimir Cvijan, Committee Chairman.
