27th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government
At the sitting held on 29 July 2026, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government adopted decisions to hold public hearings on the topic “Presentation of the Bill on the Judicial Academy, submitted by the Government on 17 July 2026, and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Prevention of Corruption”.
The Committee members accepted the proposal of Committee Chairman Dr Ugljesa Mrdic to complete a single debate on all the items on the agenda.
The Committee members decided to have the Fifth Public Hearing on said topic on 18 August 2026, in Kragujevac, in the City Assembly Grand Hall, starting at 11 am, the Sixth on 19 August 2026, in Nis, in the City Assembly Grand Hall, staring at noon, the Seventh on 20 August 2026, in Novi Sad, in the City Assembly Blue Hall, starting at 11 am, and the Eighth in Belgrade, in the Small Hall of the National Assembly House, on 21 August 2026, starting at 11 am.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Ugljesa Mrdic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Jovan Palalic, Dragan Nikolic, Jasmina Palurovic, Biljana Ilic Stosic, Lidija Nacic, Natasa Milic Milas, Milija Miletic, Boris Bajic, Risto Kostov and Ana Krstic.
