186th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 28 February, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the Proposal to pass an authentic interpretation of the provisions of Article 52, paragraph 1, Article 29, paragraph 1, Article 30, paragraph 2 and Article 50, paragraph 2, item 1) of the Privatisation Law (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No. 83/2014, 46/2015 and 112/2015), submitted by MP Dr Aleksandra Tomic.


MP Dr Aleksandra Tomic said that there have been some uncertainties regarding the implementation of articles 52 and 29 of the Privatisation Law, especially the part concerning property, that is when the process of privatisation is already underway, and concerning the acceptance of bids, and the Proposal for an authentic interpretation is seen as a solution to these problems.

The Committee members unanimously ruled that the Proposal to pass an authentic interpretation of the provisions of Article 52, paragraph 1, Article 29, paragraph 1, Article 30, paragraph 2 and Article 50, paragraph 2, item 1) of the Privatisation Law (Official Gazetteof the Republic of Serbia, No. 83/2014, 46/2015 and 112/2015), submitted by MP Dr Aleksandra Tomic is justified and decided to forward it to the National Assembly.

The sitting was attended by Committee members and deputy members Mirko Cikiriz, Svetislav Vukmirica, Zivan Djurisic, Jasmina Obradovic, Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, Zarko Micin, Petar Petrovic, Nedjo Jovanovic and Balint Pasztor.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
