11th session of the Finance Committee
The eleventh session of the Finance Committee, held on 8 April, discussed and endorsed amendments submitted to Bills scheduled for debate at the Eighth Session of the First Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2004. The amendments were submitted to the Bill on the Settling of Obligations of the Republic of Serbia Arising from the Loan for Economic Development, as well as to the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Guarantee Fund, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Financial Transactions Tax, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Tax on the Use, Possession and Carrying of Goods, and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Excise Act.

In the absence of the chairman and vice-chairperson of the Committee, the session, which was held on 8 April, was convened and opened by the Chairman of the National Assembly, Predrag Markovic, and, by Chairman Markovic’s authorisation, chaired by Milutin Prodanovic, member of the Committee.
The Minister of Finance in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Mladjan Dinkic, also took part in the Committee’s session.
