Delegation in the Parliamentary Dimension of the Central European Initiative
As a Parliamentary dimension of the Central-European Initiative, it represents a parliamentary forum of regional character and it is one of the three pillars of the organization (along with Government and Economic dimensions). Its goal is to strengthen multilateral cooperation at the parliamentary level, the cooperation of members regarding the strengthening of political and economic capacities, establishment of partnership on principles of parliamentary democracy and human rights, and to provide assistance to the reforms in countries of the Central-European Initiative.
Plenary sessions of the Parliamentary Dimension are convened twice a year, in the fall (Parliamentary Assembly) and in spring with fewer attending members (Parliamentary Committee). Meetings of working bodies are held between as well as during these sessions.
Our country has been a full member since 2001.

Latest activities
- The Parliamentary Friendship Group with Italy met on 19 October 2023, at the National Assembly House, with the Italian delegation to the Central European Initiative Parliamentary Dimension (CEI PD), visiting the Republic of Serbia.
- National Assembly Deputy Speaker and Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Borko Stefanovic took part in the meeting of foreign affairs committee chairpersons and heads of delegations to the Central European Initiative Parliamentary Dimension, in Trieste, Italy, on 13 October 2023.
- The members of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Parliamentary Dimension of the Central European Initiative (CEI PD) took part in the meeting of the CEI PD General Committee on Economic Affairs on 27 and 28 March 2023 in Bucharest. CEI PD delegation was headed by Prof. Zoran Radojicic and included delegation member Jasmin Hodzic.
