Vladimir Djordjevic at 6th Asia-Europe Political Forum

MP Vladimir Djordjevic took part in the 6th Asia-Europe Political Forum (AEPF), held in Budapest, 27-29 November 2025, with the topic "Peace and Democracy in Eurasia", which brought together representatives of political parties, parliamentarians and research institutions from many countries.

The Forum emphasised that the contemporary global crisis is strongly influencing political developments around the world, making dialogue and cooperation more important than ever. The participants highlighted the role of the AEPF as a platform that connects Europe and Asia, strengthens trust and encourages the peaceful resolution of disputes, with full respect for international law.

The participants discussed today’s key challenges - geopolitical tensions, sustainable development, multilateral cooperation and the importance of connectivity in Eurasia. They emphasised that stability, peace and inclusive dialogue are the basic prerequisites for the progress of states and the strengthening of democratic processes.

A special thematic session was part of the event, dedicated to strengthening cooperation between research institutions and policy advisory organisations, which represents a new step in deepening relations among AEPF members.
