The meeting focused on "The situation at the EU's external border with Belarus" and "The impact of the situation in Afghanistan on the OSCE region".

Laurynas Kasciunas, member of the Lithuanian Parliament and the Ad Hoc Committee on Migration, Patrice Quesada, Senior Emergency and Post-Crisis Specialist at the International Organization for Migration Regional Office Brussels, Frauke Ossig, Doctors Without Borders Emergency Coordinator, and Goda Jurevciute, project manager at the Vilnius Human Rights Monitoring Institute spoke on the first topic.

Luka Pianese, OSCE External Cooperation Section Senior Migration and Security Expert, OSCE Secretariat, spoke about the impact of the crisis in Afghanistan on the OSCE region, presenting information on planned OSCE initiatives, including efforts to develop a response to the implications of the Afghanistan crisis for the OSCE region.

At the end of the meeting, the participants were informed about the planned visit of an Ad Hoc Committee delegation to the island of Lesbos and the migrant camps located there.
