Two Assembly Committees start initiative for water conservation campaign
On occasion of today’s Environmental Protection Day, marked all over the world under the slogan “Water: Two billion people are dying for it”, the National Assembly’s Committees on Agriculture and Environmental Protection have initiated a joint meeting with representatives of the newly-formed Water Directorate of the Government of Serbia to discuss this important issue.
On occasion of today’s Environmental Protection Day, marked all over the world under the slogan “Water: Two billion people are dying for it”, the National Assembly’s Committees on Agriculture and Environmental Protection have initiated a joint meeting with representatives of the newly-formed Water Directorate of the Government of Serbia to discuss this important issue.
As part of the initiative, Assembly and Directorate representatives will propose a water conservation campaign to representatives of electronic media, since many Serbian municipalities have problems with water supply, as well as because of this year’s drought.
