Twenty-Fourth Sitting of the Agriculture Committee
At the sitting held on 30 March, the members of the Agriculture Committee discussed in principle the Bill on Forests, Bill on Recognition of Agricultural Plant Varieties, Bill on Beer, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Veterinary Practice, Bill on Organic Production, Bill on Advisory and Expert Services in the Field of Agriculture, Bill on Water and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Supplementary Agreement to the Basic Agreement on Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine.
At the sitting held on 30 March, the members of the Agriculture Committee discussed in principle the Bill on Forests, Bill on Recognition of Agricultural Plant Varieties, Bill on Beer, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Veterinary Practice, Bill on Organic Production, Bill on Advisory and Expert Services in the Field of Agriculture, Bill on Water and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Supplementary Agreement to the Basic Agreement on Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine.
The sitting was attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Sasa Dragin and associates, as well as the directors of the Veterinary, Plant Protection and Forests Directorates and Director of the General Inspectorate.
Minister Dragin briefly presented each of the proposed laws, after which the Committee members conducted a short discussion.
Following the discussion the Committee members unanimously accepted the Bill on Forests, Bill on Recognition of Agricultural Plant Varieties, Bill on Beer, Bill on Organic Production, Bill on Advisory and Expert Services in the Field of Agriculture and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Supplementary Agreement to the Basic Agreement on Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine, in principle.
The Committee members also accepted the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Veterinary Practice and Bill on Water, by a majority of votes, with the reserved opinion of deputy Zoran Masic on both Bills.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman Zoran Masic.
