Twenty-Fifth Sitting of the Youth and Sports Committee

The Youth and Sports Committee held its twenty-fifth sitting on 22 March 2011. The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milan Vuckovic and attended by Minister of Youth and Sport Snezana Samardzic-Markovic and associates.


The Youth and Sports Committee held its twenty-fifth sitting on 22 March 2011. The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milan Vuckovic and attended by Minister of Youth and Sport Snezana Samardzic-Markovic and associates.

The Committee members considered the Bill on Sports, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, on the particulars.

A total of 246 amendments were submitted to the Bill on Sports. The Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Committee accepted 19 of the amendments, and the Committee members accepted the three amendments submitted by the Government. By a majority of votes, the Committee decided to propose that the National Assembly accept the amendment to article 17 submitted by deputy Miljan Randjelovic. The representative of the submitter present at the Committee sitting did not accept the amendment.

Committee Chairman Milan Vuckovic was elected Committee rapporteur to the National Assembly sitting.
