Third Sitting of the European Integration Committee
At its third sitting, held on 6 July 2016, the members of the European Integration Committee accepted, by majority vote, the initiative for an Interparliamentary Conference in Belgrade on 16 September 2016, to be co-organised by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the European Parliament.
The Committee members then proceeded to accept, by majority vote, the initiative for a visit by a delegation of the European Parliament Former Members Association (FMA), 25 September – 2 October 2016. The Committee Chairperson informed the Committee members that the Association consists of 700 members who are still politically active in their respective countries and whose former experience as MEPs can contribute to Serbia’s European integration process.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Marinika Tepic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Vesna Markovic, Zarko Micin, Marko Blagojevic, Olivera Pesic, Dusica Stojkovic, Zvonimir Djokic, Miljan Damjanovic, Dr Muamer Bacevac, Dragan Sormaz, Mladen Grujic, Gordana Comic, Aleksandar Stevanovic and Balint Pasztor.
