Third Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 1 December 2022, the members of the Culture and Information Committee considered the Republic of Serbia 2023 Budget Bill, Section 29 - Ministry of Culture and Section 38 - Ministry of Information and Telecommunications, in principle.

For Section 29 - Ministry of Culture, 14,070,101,000 RSD have been allocated in the 2023 budget. Compared to last year’s initial budget, the allocation for culture has been increased by 753,682,000 i.e. 5.66%. The initial percentage of the allocation for the Ministry of Culture in the budget of the Republic of Serbia is 0.88%.

For Section 38 - Ministry of Information and Telecommunications, 4,825,325,000 RSD have been allocated in the 2023 budget viz. 1,450,498,000 RSD for the public information system and 3,374,827,000 RSD for telecommunications and information society.

Following a discussion, the Committee adopted the Republic of Serbia 2023 Budget Bill, in principle.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Sinisa Kovacevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Milorad Bojovic, Lepomir Ivkovic, Nebojsa Bakarec, Natasa Tasic Knezevic, Natasa Jovanovic, Lav Grigorije Pajkic, Stasa Stojanovic, Prof. Dr Jahja Fehratovic, Natasa Bogunovic, Branko Vukajlovic, Tatjana Manojlovic, Dragana Miljanic, Edis Durgutovic, Prof. Dr Tamara Milenkovic Kerkovic, Rozalia Okresz and Aleksandar Jovanovic.
