Third Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 29 August 2022, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the resignations tendered to the post of MP by: Marija Z. Jovanovic, Jelena Begovic, Smiljana Maksimovic, Tatjana Matic, Gordana Matkovic, Milos Vucevic, Marija Radulovic, Violeta Filip and Lazar Ristovski, as well as the notification of the reason for the termination of the term of office of MP Bozidar Delic viz. death.

The Committee members submitted a Report to the National Assembly that the said situations fall under Article 131, paragraph 1, items 1 and 6 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation and death are listed as reasons for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, thus proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MPs’ term of office.

The Committee members went on to consider and accept the request of MPs Dubravka Kralj and Zoltan Dani to exercise the right to monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade.

As item four on the agenda, the Committee adopted the Certificate terminating the office of Nikola Nedeljkovic as National Assembly Speaker Chief-of-Staff in the National Assembly 12th legislature.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Djankovic, Vojislav Vujic, Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, Djordje Komlenski, Aleksandar Mirkovic, Vojislav Mihailovic, Dragana Rakic, Miroslav Aleksic, Ana Miljanic, Aleksandar Markovic, Dunja Bratic Simonovic, Sanja Maric and Veroljub Matic.
