Third Extraordinary Sitting in 2002 Convened
At the request of a group of 97 Deputies from the Democratic Opposition of Serbia Deputies' Group, the Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Natasa Micic convened the Third Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia for 18 June, beginning at 10 in the morning.
The agenda of the Third Extraordinary Sitting has been set in the Deputies' request for convening the sitting.
The National Assembly will at this sitting discuss a Proposal for the election of a certain number of members of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as well as a Proposal made by the President of the Republic of Serbia for the election of the Presiding Justice and Justices of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Serbia.
The agenda of the sitting includes a Bills Amending and Modifying the Act on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2002 and the Act on the Tax on Financial Transactions, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
The Deputies will also consider a Bill Amending and Modifying the Entrepreneurs' Act, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as well as a Proposal of a Decision Modifying the Decision on the Election of Members of National Assembly Committees, submitted by Deputy Cedomir Jovanovic, chairman of the Democratic Opposition of Serbia Deputies' Group.
