Talks on Developing Parliamentary Practice
A delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, made up of Deputies Leila Ruždic-Trifunovic, Nataša Milojevic and Ðorde Mamula held talks today at the Assembly with representatives of the European Movement for Serbia, which is realised within the Pact for Stability in South-eastern Europe.
The talks included the work of parliaments, the cooperation of non-governmental organisations and Serbian parliamentary bodies in drafting legislation that would contribute to the harmonisation of our legislative system with those of European democracies.
The guests expressed interest in work on the Draft Public Information Act and stressed that their idea was not to project European laws onto ours, but rather to provide expert assistance and monitor the drafting of legislation.
