The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Dr Oliver Dulic and the Vice-President of the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivailo Kalfin, agreed today that the process of defining the final status of Kosovo and Metohia and the continuation of Serbia’s European integrations are two separate processes.

Speaker Dulic pledged to continue searching for a compromise solution in the negotiations concerning Kosovo and Metohia, as well as to expedite Serbia’s progress towards the European Union.

Minister Kalfin pointed out that, as a good neighbour, Bulgaria is particularly interested in the further development of Serbia and the stability of the entire region, so is ready to contribute to that cause.

Kalfin and Dulic concluded that there is room for a more intensive parliamentary cooperation of Bulgaria and Serbia, especially in the scope of European integrations.
