Speaker Dulic Receives Russian Observers of the Presidential Election
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Dr Oliver Dulic, met today at the National Assembly House with the delegation of Russian parliamentaries who will monitor as observers the Presidential Election in the Republic of Serbia called for 20 January 2008. In his conversation with the representatives of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States and deputies of the Russian Federation’s State Duma, Speaker Dulic expressed his pleasure that the Russian observers will monitor the Serbian Presidential Election, as well as his firm belief that the election will be conducted peacefully in an atmosphere of fair play and democracy.
