Sixty-Ninth Sitting of the Legislative Committee
At the sitting held on 25 November, regarding the initiatives for the estimation of constitutionality and adherence to confirmed international treaties of the provisions of articles 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of the Law amending and modifying the Public Information Law, the Legislative Committee adopted the opinion that the disputed provisions of the Law adhere to the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, by a majority of votes.
At the sitting held on 25 November, regarding the initiatives for the estimation of constitutionality and adherence to confirmed international treaties of the provisions of articles 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of the Law amending and modifying the Public Information Law, the Legislative Committee adopted the opinion that the disputed provisions of the Law adhere to the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, by a majority of votes.
At the sitting, the Committee also considered the amendments to the Bill on Determining the Jurisdiction of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. Out of the 212 amendments submitted, three amendments were rejected as incomplete, while two amendments were not in agreement with relevant constitutional provisions. The Committee deemed all the remaining amendments legally feasible.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Vlatko Ratkovic.
