Seventh Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 6 September 2024, the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered the Ministry of the Interior Report on the activities aimed at the activists and organisers of the protests concerning the Rio Tinto project in the period June – August 2024.

The Report was presented by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic.

The Committee adopted the Report on the activities aimed at the activists and organisers of the protests concerning the Rio Tinto project in the period June – August 2024, by majority vote.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman MA Milovan Drecun, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic, Darko Jovanovic, Milica Nikolic, Tomislav Jankovic, Milos Gnjidic, Biljana Pantic Pilja, Dr Dusan Bajatovic, Marija Jevdjic, Dragan Markovic, Aleksandar Pavic, Branko Pavlovic, Djordjo Djordjic, Marinika Tepic, Miroslav Aleksic, Slavica Radovanovic, Stefan Janjic and Bogdan Radovanovic. The sitting was also attended by MPs Aleksandar Jovanovic and Snezana Paunovic who are not members of the Committee
