Seventh Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

The Culture and Information Committee held its seventh sitting on 18 March 2008, chaired by the Committee Chairperson Vesna Marjanovic.



The Culture and Information Committee held its seventh sitting on 18 March 2008, chaired by the Committee Chairperson Vesna Marjanovic. The sitting was attended by the representatives of ANEM, NUNS, APRES, Civic Initiative, EKOPOLIS and other organisations, authorized nominators of candidates for membership in the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency.

The discussion dealt with the conclusion of the Culture and Information Committee that it is necessary to initiate proceedings for the amendment and modification of the provisions of the Broadcasting Act regulating the election of members of the Council of the Broadcasting Agency, as well as nomination of candidates.

Following a two-hour discussion, the Committee Chairperson Vesna Marjanovic thanked the present guests for their comments and suggestions.
