Seventh Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 6 October 2022, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the resignation tendered to the post of MP by Jelena Bogdanovic and Dragana Stevic.

The Committee Chairman proposed submitting a Report to the National Assembly stating that the said situation falls under Article 131, paragraph 1, item 6 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, with the proposal that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MPs’ term of office.

The Committee went on to adopt the Proposal of the Decision on the MPs’ seating arrangements in the Grand Hall of the National Assembly House.

The Committee members also considered and approved the request submitted by MP Ivana Parlic to exercise the right to monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade and living separately from her family.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Svetozar Vujacic, Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, Janko Veselinovic, Dragana Rakic, Miroslav Aleksic, Ana Miljanic, Bosko Obradovic, Aleksandar Markovic, Dunja Simonovic Bratic and Sanja Maric.
