Seventeenth Sitting of the Committee on Trade and Tourism
At the sitting held on 11 October, the Committee on Trade and Tourism discussed bills on the agenda for the First Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly in 2011:
the Bill on the Confirmation of the Additional Protocol to the Agreement on Amendment of and Accession to the Central Europe Free Trade Agreement, Bill on the Confirmation of the Protocol between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Belarus amending and modifying the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on Free Trade between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Belarus of March 31, 2009 and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Tourism Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Government of the Russian Federation, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
The sitting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management and Ministry of Economy and Regional Development.
The representative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management explained the Bill on the Confirmation of the Additional Protocol to the Agreement on Amendment of and Accession to the Central Europe Free Trade Agreement, after which the Committee members unanimously adopted the Bill. At the sitting, the Committee also considered the Information on the Activity of the Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management in the field of trade and services.
The Committee members went on to unanimously adopt the Bill on the Confirmation of the Protocol between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Belarus amending and modifying the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on Free Trade between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Belarus of March 31, 2009, as well as the Bill on the Confirmation of the Tourism Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Government of the Russian Federation, which were elaborated by the representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dejan Nikolic.
