Seminar for MPs on Emergency Situation Management

The OSCE Mission in Serbia organised a seminar on emergency situation management for the MPs, on 25 and 26 November 2016.

At the seminar, the highest officials of the Ministry for the Interior Emergency Situation Sector presented to the members of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee and the Security Services Control Committee the protection and rescue system in the Republic of Serbia, normative framework and practical aspects of emergency situation management and financing. The MPs endorsed the Sector’s activities on advancing the protection and rescue system, especially through trainings organised for local emergency HQs, again stressing the need to focus more on investing into prevention.
