Second Sitting of the Health and Family Committee

At the sitting held on 6 November 2022, the Health and Family Committee deliberated, in principle, on the Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2022 Budget Law, Section 27 – Ministry of Health, accompanied by the Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the Decision amending the Republic Health Insurance Fund 2022 Financial Plan, submitted by the Government.

On behalf of the Ministry of Health the sitting was attended by Ministry secretary Natasa Gudovic, Head of the Finance Department Snezana Simic and Head of the Financial Planning and Budget Drafting Group Sanja Tomic Mihajlovic. As representatives of the submitter, the sitting was attended by senior advisors Olivera Ruzic Poparic and Dragana Nesic of the Ministry of Finance, and on behalf of the Republic Health Insurance Fund by the acting director of the Republic Health Insurance Fund Dr Sanja Radojevic Skoric and Head of the Economic Affairs Sector Svetlana Tandin.

The rebalance increases the budgetary allocation for the Ministry of Health by about 9.6 billion RSD compared to the initial budget, which was about 34.7 billion RSD, so that with the proposed 2022 budget rebalance it will amount to about 44 3 billion RSD.

Following a discussion, the Committee members proposed, by majority vote, that the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending accept the Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2022 Budget Law, Section 27 – Ministry of Health, accompanied by the Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the Decision amending the Republic Health Insurance Fund 2022 Financial Plan.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Prim. Doc. Dr Darko Laketic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Muamer Bacevac, Prof. Dr Vladimir Djukic, Marija Vojinovic, Sanda Raskovic Ivic, Slavisa Bulatovic, Zagorka Aleksic, Prof. Dr Zoran Radojicic, Bosko Obradovic, Dubravka Filipovski, Dr Marko Bogdanovic, Dr Nada Macura and Jana Mateovic.
