Second Sitting of the European Integration Committee
At the sitting held on 20 September, the European Integration Committee considered the text of the joint statement to be adopted following the Sixth Interparliamentary Meeting European Parliament – National Assembly.
The meeting will take place in Belgrade, on 27 and 28 September 2012.
By a majority of votes, the Committee accepted the joint statement proposal, with amendments and modifications.
The Committee members accepted the initiative to establish the testing procedure for the instruments on the compliance of laws proposed by the MPs with European legislation.
The Committee members also reached an agreement on the presentation of Serbia’s 2012 Progress Report and the Report on the implementation of the Third amended and modified National Programme for Integration of the Republic of Serbia into the European Union.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson, Milica Delevic.
